London Boudoir by Adam Csomor is a private studio in Raynes Park, south-west London, close to Wimbledon. Here, the two of you can slow down, be close and enjoy each other's company while we take care of the photographs. You do not need to feel confident in front of a camera. You just need to bring each other.

What is couples boudoir?

Couples boudoir is an intimate, sensual photoshoot for two. Think close embraces, quiet looks, shared laughter and the small details that make your relationship yours. It is about connection rather than performance, and the images are tasteful and personal. You might book it for an anniversary, a milestone birthday or simply because you want beautiful photos of the two of you together. It is also a lovely shared experience in its own right: a few hours set aside just for the two of you, away from the everyday.

Who is it for?

Boudoir photography for couples is for anyone in a loving relationship who wants to capture it. Married, engaged, newly together or many years in, every couple is welcome, including same-sex couples. We photograph every body shape, size and age, and neither of you needs any modelling experience. If you are a same-sex couple wondering whether boudoir is for you, it absolutely is: our approach is the same for every couple, built around connection, comfort and choice. If one of you is keener than the other, that is completely normal, and the session can move at the pace of whoever feels more nervous.

How do Adam and Barbi guide two people?

Adam guides every pose step by step, telling you where to put your hands, how to lean in and when to simply look at each other. He has 12 years of massage therapy experience and a keen interest in fitness, which gives him a real understanding of the human body and helps poses feel natural rather than stiff.

Barbi, Adam's wife and co-founder, is present at every shoot to help and guide you both. We are a married couple ourselves, so we understand that being photographed together can feel a little strange at first. Between us, we keep the mood light and make sure you both feel comfortable all the way through.

Before the day, we can chat at a consultation in Wimbledon, or by phone or video call, so you both know what to expect. When you arrive at the studio, you can settle in and relax with a glass of wine before we begin.

How revealing will it be?

That is always your choice. You can stay fully dressed and cosy, wear lingerie and underwear, or find something in between. We talk it through before the day, and nothing happens on set that either of you is not happy with. If one of you would like to be more covered than the other, that is absolutely fine too. Often, the images that say the most are the simple ones: a hand on a shoulder, foreheads touching, a shared laugh.

What should we wear together?

Choose outfits that feel like the two of you, in colours that sit well side by side. A few ideas to get you started:

• Matching or complementary lingerie and underwear

• A crisp white shirt, worn open or buttoned

• Soft knitwear or robes for cosy, relaxed shots

• Something with meaning, such as a favourite T-shirt or an item from your wedding day

A simple colour palette works well: soft neutrals, black, white or one shared accent colour keep the focus on the two of you rather than your clothes. Bring a few options and we will help you choose on the day. Comfortable always works better than complicated.

How much does it cost?

Couples sessions start from £395. Your photos, prints and albums are chosen separately as collections, and you view your images at the studio straight after the shoot. Please ask us for details and we will talk you through everything.

Will our photos be shared online?

Only with your written permission. Your session at London Boudoir is 100% private and secure, and saying no to sharing is completely fine. Your digital images arrive through a password-protected link by email, so they stay between the two of you unless you decide otherwise.

Where is the studio?

Our studio is at 67b Bushey Road, London SW20 8TE, in Raynes Park, south-west London, close to Wimbledon. If you would like to talk things through before your shoot, we offer consultations in Wimbledon, or by phone or video call.

Does the session fee include our photos?

No. The session fee covers your shoot, and your photos are chosen separately as collections. You view everything at the studio straight after your session and choose what to order, from luxury fine art albums to metallic wall prints, prints and digital downloads.

What if we are not happy with our photos?

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. If you are not blown away by your photos, we refund your session fee. Posing and lighting do most of the work, and every image is fully retouched at no extra charge, with a natural finish.
