How much does a boudoir photoshoot cost in the UK?

If you've been searching for the real boudoir photoshoot cost in the UK, here's my straight answer. At London Boudoir by Adam Csomor, the session fee is £395, and photo collections start at £899.
As a rough guide, the average client spends somewhere between £1,200 and £3,000 in total. That covers the whole experience, plus the photos and products you choose to keep.
Below I'll break down what each part pays for, so nothing comes as a surprise.
What does the £395 session fee include?
The session fee covers your experience at our studio near Canary Wharf. Plan to spend 3 to 4 hours with us. It includes:
Professional hair and makeup.
Pre-session planning, plus a prep and wardrobe guide
Time in our luxury studio
A photoshoot with expert posing and lighting, guided step by step
Professional retouching
Next-day photo viewing and ordering
What it doesn't include is digital photos or an album. I'd much rather tell you that clearly now than have you find out on the day.
You'll find everything laid out on our boudoir photoshoot prices page.
Why are the photos priced separately?
Splitting the cost means you decide what you want after you've actually seen your images. Some people fall for a luxury album. Others want a single metallic wall print, or a set of digital downloads.
Photo collections start at £899. They're built from our luxury boudoir albums, metallic wall prints, prints and digital downloads.
You choose at the end of your shoot, while you're still at the studio. Prints arrive in about 7 to 14 days, and digital images come through a password-protected link by email.
How much does a boudoir photoshoot cost in the UK, all in?
Here's the honest picture. As a rough guide, the average client spends between £1,200 and £3,000 on the whole experience.
Where you land depends on what you choose. How many images would you like to keep? Do you want an album, wall art, digital files or a mix of all three?
My advice is simple. Decide on a budget before you come, and tell us. It makes the viewing relaxed, because you're choosing favourites rather than doing sums in your head.
If you're wondering why boudoir costs more than a standard portrait session, I've written about why boudoir is so expensive in more detail.
Is a cheap or "free" boudoir shoot a better deal?
You'll sometimes see very low prices or voucher deals for boudoir shoots. Some are perfectly fine. But it's worth asking what happens after the camera goes down.
A low session fee can sometimes mean a bigger spend at the viewing. Or it can mean very little time, styling or guidance on the day. So compare the whole picture, not just the headline number.
A few questions worth asking any photographer:
What exactly does the session fee include?
Is hair and makeup included, and who does it?
What do the photos cost, and what does a typical client spend?
Will my photos ever be shared without my permission?
What happens if I don't like them?
To me, good value is about two things. How you feel when you see your photos, and how you feel about the money afterwards.
What if I don't love my photos?
We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. If you're not blown away by your photos, we refund your session fee.
Otherwise, session fees are non-refundable, and rescheduling costs £25. Life happens, so if you need to move your date, just talk to us.
I also edit lightly. Every image is fully retouched at no extra charge, but you'll still look like you. Posing and lighting do most of the work, so there's no "plastic doll" finish.
Questions people ask
Is hair and makeup an extra cost?
No. Professional hair, makeup and lashes are included in the £395 session fee for every studio session. You can sit back and relax with a glass of wine while it's done.
Is an outdoor boudoir session cheaper?
The outdoor boudoir session fee is £250, and you should plan for 2 to 3 hours. As with the studio session, digital photos and albums are chosen separately from our collections, which start at £899.
Will I feel pressured to spend more at the viewing?
We want you to leave happy, not stretched. Set your budget before you arrive, share it with us, and we'll help you choose your favourites within it.
If you'd like to talk through costs for your own plans, I'm happy to help, with no pressure at all. Call or text 07881 528990, email hello@londonboudoir.co.uk, or join our 2026 waitlist and we'll be in touch when dates open up.
