Choosing the right outfit for your boudoir photoshoot can be a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be. With the right mindset and resources, you can let go of your shopping anxiety and walk away with pieces that you feel confident in and sexy in for your big day. Here are our top tips for nailing your boudoir wardrobe.
- Set A Budget for Your Wardrobe
It’s important to set a budget before you start shopping for your outfits for your boudoir photoshoot. This will help you stay within your budget and avoid buying anything that you don’t really need. How much you spend on your wardrobe will depend on your preferences, as well as the size of your budget.
- First Things First: Know Your Body Type
First, it’s key that you’re shopping for the right size. Every woman’s body is unique, and after getting fitted and measured a lot of women learn that they’ve been wearing ill-fitting bras their entire lives! (All jokes aside, fit is really important). Wearing the wrong size bra can make you feel self-conscious during your photoshoot and take away from your overall experience. So make sure you shop with a trained lingerie fitter to get the proper fit for you. If you’re shopping online, we recommend trying on garments in person to be sure you’re buying the right size for yourself. Second, avoid the temptation to overspend. You only need 3 sets of lingerie for your session
